Our partner, a leading international industrial player, is looking for a Head of HR to drive the HR strategy at its production site Hainaut Province.
We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Head of HR to lead the Human Resources function at our large manufacturing site in Hainaut Province
In this role, you will drive HR strategies and initiatives for a workforce of over 1,000 employees (blue- and white-collar), while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Define and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and strengthen organizational performance.
- Promote a culture of engagement, collaboration, and continuous development.
- Partner with leadership teams on key topics such as talent acquisition, performance management, learning & development, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliant and efficient HR operations in line with Belgian and international labor legislation.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
- Guide and support the HR team in providing high-quality services and a positive employee experience.
- Monitor and evaluate HR programs, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date on HR trends, practices, and digital tools to further enhance the HR function.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent; a Master's degree or HR certification is an asset.
- At least 7 years of progressive HR experience within a large industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Solid expertise in union and social partner relations within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Experience designing and implementing HR strategies that deliver measurable results.
- In-depth knowledge of Belgian labor law; familiarity with international HR practices is a plus.
