Our client is scaling their backend platform to handle the next generation of growth, performance, and reliability challenges. As a Backend Tech Lead, you will guide the architecture and technical direction of their backend systems while coaching and supporting their engineers.
What Will You Do?
- You'll take ownership of backend architecture, technical choices, and system performance.
- You'll collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and fellow engineers to design, build, test, and deploy.
- You'll coach and mentor backend engineers, raising the team's technical standards.
- You'll ensure that our code is clean, maintainable, and well-documented.
- You'll drive integration projects with external systems for authentication, authorization, and content distribution.
- You'll write infrastructure as code and support DevOps best practices.
- You'll act as a go-to contact for backend-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and new features.

What's Your Background?
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with .NET/C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and relational databases.
- Familiarity with "infrastructure as code" and DevOps practices.
- Proven ability to work on large, complex systems with high uptime requirements.
- Experience with secure coding practices (OWASP), design patterns, and unit testing.
