In our Sales & Research Center in Brussels we are looking for a Junior Sales Manager PLA Bioplastics.
Functieomschrijving As Junior Sales Manager, you will support our mission to develop a profitable PLA bioplastics business. In this context, you will support the sales team in achieving sales targets and expanding our customer base. This role involves developing and managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the development of our commercial strategy.
Key responsibilities :

- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company goals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with our strategy roadmap and guide opportunities through the sales funnel
- Hunting new potential customer with close follow-up
- Deploy new technical solutions into identified market segments through intensive prospecting of new potential customers
- Track opportunities using CRM database and monitor/report a commercial dashboard
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers
- Prepare and deliver commercial presentations to potential new customers
- Understand customer needs and translate that into strong value proposition for PLA
- Work in close collaboration with marketing team and application development team to ensure that adapted technical solutions are developed and offered to customers
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials/campaigns
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and engage with stakeholders to promote PLA, fostering collaborations and partnerships
- Sales Geographic region: UK, Nordics, East Europe, Middle East, Africa
You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Profiel - Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Engineering
- Three years’ experience in sales with a proven track record
- Technical background with experience in plastics/bioplastics industry (packaging, automotive, healthcare, additive manufacturing, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Ability to travel (about 40% of working time)
