About the job

🤠 What you’ll be doing

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced machine learning models to solve high-impact business challenges
• Architect and build robust, scalable data pipelines and data-driven solutions
• Drive exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, correlations, and strategic insights
• Develop and maintain complex predictive models, recommendation engines, and optimization algorithms
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders
• Validate, monitor, and continuously improve model performance in production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business stakeholders, to ensure data quality and alignment with business goals
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering technical excellence within the team
• Play a strategic role in shaping Movify’s data science vision, methodologies, and best practices

🤓 Skills & qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar advanced analytics role
• Expert proficiency in Python or R, with a strong command of data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy)
• Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and experience deploying models in production
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets in real-world environments
• Solid background in statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing, with the ability to design rigorous experiments
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including C-level audiences
• A strategic, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in FR or NL + excellent command of English
• A genuine passion for transforming data into business value and driving strategic decision-making
