Enterprise Solution Architect

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise/Solution Architect to strengthen our teams and support a range of digital platforms. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong business process understanding and excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Map and document the architecture of multiple applications using Archimate, focusing on the application and technology layers.
• Develop architectural documentation and analyses in Confluence.
• Produce Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to guide technical and strategic decisions.
• Provide expert guidance on architecture-related questions across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a specialist architect in one or more domains: networking, security, server infrastructure, application architecture, ERP, ECM platforms, Datawarehouse, BI, or as an Enterprise Architect.
• Broad knowledge across multiple architecture domains, with deep expertise in at least one.
• Experience with modelling techniques such as Archimate, TOGAF, UML, and Sparx EA.
• Familiarity with business processes and the ability to align architecture with organizational needs.
• Experience in project management aspects including cost estimation, planning, coordination, and scheduling.
• Experience with technologies such as:
• Spring, ASP.NET / .NET Core
• Vue.js (TypeScript / JavaScript)
• Docker, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ
• OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0
• Cloud platforms, preferably AWS

General Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, produce actionable documentation, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Fluency in Dutch at CEFR C2 level.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity principles.
• Experience preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and formalizing action points.
• Knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies to provide team support.
