Equine Surgeon

Equine Clinics “Het Bokt” (Peer) and “Vétérinaires équins de Septon” (Durbuy) have a unique vacancy for a veterinarian specialized in Equine Surgery. For this role, we are looking for a Diplomate Equine Surgery or a Fully Trained Resident Equine Surgery (or equivalent by experience).

The main workplace will be our brand new clinic in Durbuy. However, periodic visits to Het Bokt in Peer are possible and to be discussed. Both clinics are part of the same group, and are referral centers with an emphasis on surgery and second-line veterinary medicine for horses.

Who are we looking for?

• You have completed your Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, option horse with further specialization Residency Program and graduated as a Diplomate. If you don’t have this degree but do have extensive surgical experience, you are more than welcome to introduce yourself.
• You are highly motivated, flexible and have the ambition to grow and continuously educate yourself.
• You have the necessary sense of responsibility and always put the patient first.
• We are open for international hirings from, for example, France, Italy, Spain, …
