Hospitality Talents, a recruitment agency specialized in hospitality profiles, is looking for an Operations Manager, for one of its client in Antwerp.
Our client, a reputable 4-star hotel in the heart of Antwerp, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in Food & Beverage to support the overall running of the hotel and lead daily operations with a hands-on, guest-centric approach.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards across all departments, with a particular focus on the restaurant, bar, breakfast, banqueting, and room service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and a consistently high level of guest satisfaction.
- Lead and support department heads (mainly in F&B, Front Office, and Housekeeping) in achieving operational goals.
- Take ownership of all F&B outlets: drive quality, consistency, team motivation, and financial performance.
- Implement SOPs, quality standards, and service protocols aligned with brand and guest expectations.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Support the GM in managing human resources functions: recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP, fire safety, etc.).
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly, always ensuring a welcoming and service-minded culture.
- Work collaboratively with sales, events, and kitchen teams to ensure smooth group, meeting, and event operations.
Skills
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in an operational management role
- Strong F&B background is essential (restaurant, bar, or banqueting leadership roles).
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
- Guest-oriented mindset with an eye for detail and a drive for operational excellence.
- Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
- Ability to work in a structured, hands-on, and proactive manner.
- Knowledge of hotel PMS systems and operational software (e.g., Opera, Mews, ResDiary, etc.) is an asset.
