Who’s hiring ?

An international group in full growth, established in Belgium and the Netherlands, is looking for a Business Controller to join its Benelux Controlling team.

This team plays a key role in strengthening financial and operational processes, acting as a true partner to the management board.

Your missions :

As Business Controller, you will act as the right hand of the Business Control Manager Benelux and as a strategic partner to the leadership team. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and financially justifying business cases
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
• Developing and monitoring performance reports to optimize results
• Analyzing cost prices and monitoring margins
• Providing strategic support to Finance, Operations, IT, Sales, and Marketing
• Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
• Conducting process analysis and proposing optimizations
• Responding to ad hoc requests and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines
• Participating in cross-functional projects to improve reporting and organizational effectiveness
• Occasionally traveling to sites in the Netherlands (Almere/Zeist)

Fluency in English and Dutch is required.

Your profile

• Higher education in Finance (Master’s in Applied Economics, Business Engineering, or Commercial Sciences)
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Controlling within an international environment. Experience in wholesale or retail is an asset
• Strong track record as a business partner to senior management
• Excellent command of Excel; knowledge of BI tools is a plus
• Full proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
• Personal qualities: sharp analytical mind, autonomy, resilience, tenacity, stress tolerance, a sense of humor, and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across all organizational levels
