Project Manager Fiber

Fiber networks are the backbone of modern connectivity. For a client in the Antwerp region, we are looking for a Project Manager who not only understands the technical and logistical aspects of fiber deployments, but also has hands-on experience in the field.

Do you have 3 to 5 years of experience managing fiber projects and working directly on-site? Then you might be the expert we’re looking for.

What can you expect from the job?

·      Managing end-to-end fiber deployment projects, from planning to execution.

·      Coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

·      Monitoring site activities and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

·      Reviewing technical documentation and ensuring alignment with project specifications.

·      Handling stakeholder communication and reporting project progress.

·      Resolving on-site challenges and adapting plans to meet operational realities.

We are looking for a Project Manager with strong leadership skills, technical insight, and a solid background in fiber fieldwork.

You already have experience in:

• Fiber optic projects, including trenching, splicing, and installation (3–5 years).
• On-site coordination and supervision of telecom infrastructure works.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fiber network plans.
• Health & Safety regulations and field compliance.
•  A VCA certificate is a plus.
