Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Power Platform Developer for a hybrid freelance / contracting position. The position is Full-Time (5 days p/week) and 2 days onsite.

Contractual Details:

Role: Power Platform Developer

Way of working: Hybrid in Brussels

Start date: ASAP – 1 month

Duration: 3 months with possible extensions

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver custom solutions, and ensure they are scalable, maintainable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
• Automate business processes and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Create data visualisation and reporting solutions with Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
• Provide technical support and training to end users.
• Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Power Platform features and best practices.
• Participate in governance activities such as technical assessments, risk, and impact analysis.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Reviews and project meetings, in French or Dutch and English.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Power Platform / PowerApps Developer.
• Strong experience with Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
• Proficiency in JavaScript and XML.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to translate problem statements into effective solutions.
• Experience in organising and leading Sprint Reviews.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English.
• Legal authorisation to work in Belgium.

Desirable:

• Experience in the people transport domain.
