Key Responsibilities:

✔ Technical Procurement Leadership

• Source MRO, marine components, and specialized equipment (e.g., hydraulic systems, hull materials).
• Interpret technical specs and drawings to avoid costly errors.
• Negotiate spot-buys and long-term contracts with a focus on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).

✔ Crisis Management

• Prioritize orders during critical breakdowns.
• Identify alternative suppliers within hours, not days.

✔ Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as the liaison between engineers, warehouse teams, and suppliers.
• Advise on technical compatibility and cost-efficient alternatives.

✔ Process Optimization

• Convert reactive spot-buys into strategic contracts.
• Leverage Excel/ERP tools to track metrics (lead time, savings, supplier performance).

Your Profile:

✔ Technical DNA

• 3+ years in technical procurement, sales (B2B), or hands-on roles (e.g., maintenance mechanic,...)

✔ Pressure-Tested Performer

• Proven track record of multitasking in high-stakes environments (e.g., manufacturing, shipyards, energy).
• Critical thinker who solves problems before they escalate.

✔ Negotiation & Communication

• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Commercially savvy with unwavering integrity.
