Freelance Rubrik Systems Engineer

We’re looking for a freelance Infrastructure Systems Engineer specializing in Rubrik backup technologies to support and manage backend infrastructure. Your focus will be split between maintaining existing systems and implementing new infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and support:
• Backup and storage systems (Rubrik, Veeam, Data Domain)
• Virtual and physical server infrastructure (Cisco, Dell, IBM)
• Cloud platforms (Azure, O365, Citrix Cloud)
• Execute infrastructure projects, including migrations and business-driven initiatives
• Provide 3rd line support to operational teams
• Recommend and implement technical improvements
• Maintain technical documentation and support compliance (e.g., SOX)
• Collaborate with international teams; occasional travel may be required

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Rubrik and related backup technologies
• Solid understanding of virtualization, storage, and cloud environments
• Independent, proactive, and collaborative mindset
• Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills
