Category Buyer

We’re looking for a Category Buyer eager to take ownership of procurement activities within the industrial energy sector.

You'll take charge of sourcing complex technical equipment, from electrical/instrumentation components to engineered assemblies and pressure systems.

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for key technical packages within industrial projects
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and issue purchase orders
• Track supplier performance and manage operational risks related to delivery and quality
• Define purchasing strategies and support the setup of supplier frameworks and agreements
• Liaise with engineering, production, and project teams to align procurement with technical needs

What we expect from you:

• 5+ years of experience in a strategic procurement or category buyer role within a technical/industrial context
• Background in purchasing of electrical, instrumentation, pressure equipment, or modular skid systems
• Proficient in English (knowledge of French is an asset)
• Familiarity with SAP and Power BI, negotiation and supplier management skills
