Job Title: Freelance SAP BW/4HANA Engineer with Power BI Experience

Location: Ghent, Belgium (Hybrid/On-site as needed)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Engineer with strong expertise in Power BI to join our client’s data & analytics team in Ghent.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data models and ETL processes in SAP BW/4HANA.
• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions using SAP data warehousing tools.
• Integrate and visualize SAP BW data in Power BI, creating insightful dashboards and reports.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across platforms.
• Participate in UAT, documentation, and deployment support.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SAP BW/4HANA Engineer.
• Strong hands-on expertise in BW/4HANA data modelling, transformations, and query design.
• Solid experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, visualizations, and SAP connectors).
• Knowledge of SAP data sources such as S/4HANA, ECC, or other ERP modules is a plus.
• Understanding of data architecture and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Based in or willing to commute to Ghent; hybrid working possible.
