Senior Solution Architect

Position: Senior Architect – Cloud Network Integration

Our client is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Architect to drive the integration of containerized and virtualized network functions into a modern telecom cloud environment. This role is critical in shaping the future of scalable, resilient, and automated telecom services by designing robust cloud-native infrastructure solutions.

You will be instrumental in aligning business requirements with technical strategies, and delivering infrastructure and connectivity solutions built on a cutting-edge platform using technologies like OpenStack, Kubernetes (OpenShift), and software-defined networking.

What You’ll Do:

• Interpret service workflows and business needs into technical infrastructure blueprints.
• Design cloud onboarding solutions for network functions (CNFs/VNFs), ensuring alignment with cloud-native telco architecture.
• Produce both high-level and low-level technical documentation covering all service chain elements.
• Collaborate closely with application vendors, infrastructure teams, security architects, and network specialists.
• Define service chaining, connectivity, and security requirements across virtual and container platforms.
• Support efforts to automate onboarding processes and enable full lifecycle management.
• Participate in technical reviews, validate architecture choices, and provide expert input during implementation phases.
• Take ownership of initial integration in lab settings and facilitate transition to production environments.

Your Skillset:

• Proven capability to connect business logic with practical infrastructure designs in telecom or cloud environments.
• Solid architectural background with an end-to-end perspective of telco cloud service delivery.
• Hands-on expertise with Linux-based platforms, OpenStack, Kubernetes (or OpenShift), load balancing, and firewall systems.
• Strong knowledge of SDN technologies, especially Cisco ACI and Nexus components.
• Ability to document and communicate design strategies clearly and effectively.
• Comfortable in agile teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Deep understanding of E2E service delivery across multi-vendor platforms.

Your Background:

• 7+ years in network, cloud, or telecom architecture roles.
• Experience integrating virtual and containerized network applications into cloud-native environments.
• Comfortable working in multi-vendor ecosystems and dealing with complex service orchestration.
• Knowledge of automation pipelines, observability tools, and CI/CD frameworks.
• Understanding of security and compliance in telecom environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications or deep experience in:
• Red Hat technologies (RHCA)
• Kubernetes (CKA or CKAD)
• Cisco ACI or equivalent SDN platforms
• Network or security certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, advanced networking)
