Finance Manager (Employee/Freelance)

For this Belgian company, which operates in Belgium and internationally, we are actively seeking a Finance Manager.

In this diverse role, you will report directly to the company's CEO. In addition to overseeing financial operations, you will be involved in a variety of projects with the aim of streamlining and structuring all processes within the department.

This position is based in Evere.

Finance Manager – The Role

• Liaise with the external accounting firm for each of the company’s entities (in Belgium and abroad)
• Establish budgets, track and explain variances
• Point of contact for the auditors, banks
• Assist in month and year-end closings, as well as in the creation of consolidated financial statements
• Supervise a team of accountants (one per country)

Finance Manager – About You

• You have obtained a degree in accounting, finance or in a related field
• You have at least 10 years’ experience in a similar role, with experience in both accounting and controlling/financial analysis
• You are fluent in English, Dutch and French
• You are open to international business travel (3 days per month on average)
