Group Consolidation & Reporting Leader


A leading listed company headquartered in Belgium is looking for a finance professional to take ownership of IFRS reporting, group consolidation, and corporate accounting for a network of entities across Europe.


This is a key finance role reporting to the Finance Director, with broad exposure across reporting, control, treasury, and systems.


The company offers a collaborative environment, a stable and simple business model, and a hybrid work setup after an initial onboarding period.


Key Responsibilities of the Group Consolidation & Reporting Leader:


• Prepare group consolidated financial statements under IFRS

• Lead group close and reporting processes across 50 entities

• Act as the internal IFRS expert; prepare technical memos and advise on accounting matters

• Manage financials, VAT, and audits for holding/financing entities

• Oversee treasury tasks: cash pooling, FX, covenant reporting, and bank relationships

• Prepare quarterly reports for external stakeholders and support M&A activity

• Maintain and improve financial controls, policies, and reporting systems

• Manage one direct report

• Collaborate with tax, audit, and IT teams on cross-functional matters


Profile Requirements:


• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or similar discipline

• CPA or ACCA will be advantageous

• Strong experience in group consolidation and IFRS reporting (including hands-on preparation)

• Familiarity with HFM or other consolidation software

• Proven ability to manage external audits and regulatory reporting

• Fluent in English

• Eligibility to work in Belgium
