SAP FI - Finance Consultant (FR or NL + EN)

Position: SAP Finance Consultant

Location: Brussels

Hybrid: 2 - 3 times a week at the client’s office

Languages Required: Dutch or French (C1) + English (B2)

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Belgium

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Consultant with deep expertise in SAP FI and related modules. his role involves configuration, integration, and migration tasks centered around SAP S/4HANA, VIM, and ARIBA platforms, ensuring compliance with Belgian accounting standards and e-invoicing regulations.

Required Skills:

Master’s degree or equivalent experience

Solid understanding of financial processes and SAP FI/CO modules

Experience in at least one participation in an SAP S/4HANA migration project

Familiarity with Belgian e-invoicing legislation (Peppol)

15+ years as SAP Finance Consultant

10+ years experience/strong knowledge:

• Experience configuring VIM, including workflows, approvals, and SAP FI integration
• Strong knowledge of Belgian accounting standards (IFRS, BGAAP, ARS)

2+ years experience with:

• ARIBA SLP (Supplier Lifecycle and Performance) configuration and integration
• ARIBA Network Automation configuration and integration
• managing Business Partners on SAP S/4HANA

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain VIM solutions including workflows, approval hierarchies, and SAP FI integration
• Integrate and configure ARIBA Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) and Network Automation modules
• Support business partner (BP) management on SAP S/4HANA
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA migration projects, contributing finance domain expertise
• Ensure financial processes align with Belgian accounting standards (IFRS, BGAAP, ARS)
• Implement solutions compliant with Belgian e-invoicing legislation (Peppol)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SAP FI/CO modules with business needs
