About the Mission:

We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise SAP Solution Architect to support a major transformation programme in Belgium. This is a freelance position ideal for a senior professional with deep expertise across key SAP Solution Architecture.

As an SAP Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, and leading the design and integration of SAP solutions across various domains. This role requires someone who can operate at both strategic and technical levels.

Core Responsibilities

• Define realisable target/transition architectures for SAP product clusters (OneSAP+ context).
• Document current/future SAP landscapes with Business/Domain/Solution Architects.
• Lead trade-offs (ADRs, ATAM/CBAM) and advise when SAP is - or isn’t - the right fit.
• Drive process/data/event integrations across SAP & non-SAP systems.
• Guide designs through governance/design boards; align stakeholders across product, architecture and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the SAP solution architecture across Finance, HR, PM, Infra, and Asset Management modules.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable SAP solutions.
• Guide end-to-end solution design, integration, and implementation in complex enterprise environments.
• Provide architectural governance and ensure alignment with SAP best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
• Support project teams, review functional/technical designs, and ensure cohesive solution delivery.
• Manage dependencies across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Stay current with SAP innovations (e.g. S/4HANA) and assess applicability to the enterprise roadmap.
