ASSISTANT IT MANAGER (m/f/x)

The Belgian branch, located in the center of Brussels, is actually looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Assistant IT Manager to support the IT Manager in leading our digital transformation, with a strong focus on the ongoing Salesforce implementation. This role combines strategic oversight, technical coordination, and team leadership, ensuring that IT operations, governance, and project delivery are aligned with business goals in a fast-paced legal protection insurance environment.

As Assistant IT Manager you report directly to the IT Manager.

FUNCTION & ROLE :

1) SCRUM Master (Salesforce)

• Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Coach the team on agile best practices and remove blockers to ensure sprint goals are met.

2) IT Governance & Compliance

• Support the development and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Monitor IT risk, security controls, and audit readiness.

3) IT Project Management

• Coordinate and track progress of key small IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, and integration initiatives.

4) Global support of coordination

• Support the IT Manager in the coordination of the department
• Manage interaction with third-parties

5) Supplier & Vendor Management

• Lead negotiations and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
• Monitor SLAs, contract compliance, and performance metrics.

PROFILE :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT project coordination or management.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is a strong plus.
• Certified SCRUM Master (CSM or equivalent).
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English
• Being hands-on, able to deep-dive into any topics of IT is required
