TECHNICAL SALES DEVELOPER

For more than 40 years, KST Lighting has been leader in designing and manufacturing electronic and lighting equipments (luminaries, electronic inverters and converters, LED lighting systems…) for the railway market, such as trains, metros, and tramways…

We are seeking a Technical Sales Developer to support our growth ambitions and actively develop our presence and turnover in the European market.


YOUR MISSION / KEY RESPONSABILITIES


You will be a central actor in our sales strategy, with a high impact on revenue growth, customer engagement, and long-term business development.


Your key responsibilities include:

  • Actively prospect and bring in new B2B clients
  • Help develop and implement commercial strategies, in collaboration with the Operations Director
  • Report KPIs and business performance to management and adjust action plans accordingly
  • Manage client relationships from first contact to closing the deal, ensuring outstanding customer service and post-sale support
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and client feedback to adjust your strategy and influence internal product development
  • Deliver technical presentations to prospects and partners
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, trade shows


YOUR PROFILE/ SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS


  • Technical degree (Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, electronics or electrical fields with strong commercial affinity (prospecting, customer loyalty, negotiation) or degree in business with strong technical affinity/B2B experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales of technical products, with a solid understanding of product-specific requirements such as international standards, compliance testing, and quality assurance
  • Autonomous, results-driven, and able to work with long sales cycles
  • Experience in public tenders and project-based selling is a strong assetStrong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability
  • Capability to develop a clear strategy, identify and realize sales opportunities
  • Focus on value selling, through a consultative approach
  • Ability to understand clients’ needs within a global context and willingness to expand your comfort zone
  • Fluent in English and French (German is a plus)
  • Willing to travel across Europe (±3 trips/month)
