Trade Compliance Manager

If you also have a passion for Roland, our products or music in general, you might just be our perfect match. brFunctieomschrijving b ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: /b ulli Build, roll out, and maintain trade compliance policies and procedures so we’re always in line with EU, UK, and local laws. /lili Run regular checks and audits to spot any gaps and take action to fix them. /lili Be the go-to person for advice and training on compliance, helping everyone understand the rules and keep things above board. /lili Keep an eye on changes to European regulations and update our processes so we stay ahead of the game. /lili Work closely with our head office team in Japan to making certain our European operations meet all legal requirements. /lili Be the main contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring reports and filings are done accurately and submitted on time. /lili Team up with other departments, including customs, legal, finance, and operations to tackle compliance issues and put the appropriate controls in place. /lili Identify potential breaches of compliance and take the right steps to sort them out. /li /ul Profiel b EXPERIENCE, SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: /bbrb Specific Skills Required /bbrulli A degree in business, law, finance, or something similar (Master’s preferred but not essential). Or Demonstrable experience in compliance (5 yrs), regulatory affairs, or a related field — ideally in Europe. /lili Excellent knowledge of the relevant regulations and how they apply in practice. /lili Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset — you’re great at untangling complex rules and seeing how they affect the business. /lili A proven track record of creating and leading compliance programs in Europe. /lili Relevant certification preferred (i.e. Certified Compliance Ethics Professional). /lili Experience of working with multiple entity “Group” situations /lili Confident to report information concisely to senior management /lili Experienced in dealing with sensitive information /li /ulb Attributes Required /bbrulli Top-notch communication skills — you’re comfortable working with people at all levels, inside and outside the company. /lili A team player, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines for different stakeholders /lili Energetic, a self-starter and proactive in approach /lili An ability to display attention to detail as well as an eye for the big picture /lili Quick to learn /lili Focussed and task orientated /lili Flexible in approach /li /ul Aanbod Competitive benefits package
