Embedded Engineer (Kernel, Yocto, WiFi, C++)

General conditions:

• Role description: Updating kernel and client support
• Key skills: Kernel, Yocto, WiFi drivers, C++, Pin mapping on GPIO
• Start date: ASAP
• Onsite policy: 5 days onsite in West Flanders (close to Kortrijk)
• Duration: long term
• Contract: freelance via Mind

What you will do:

1. You will help to update the kernel stack. Kernel is a few years old.

The tasks:

• Updating to the latest kernel version
• Yocto
• Wifi driver
• C++
• Pin mapping on GPIO (mapping and testing)

2. Robotlayer client support (via slack)

Other:

• Its a freelance assignment
