🔎 We’re Hiring: Test Manager (Freelance) – Embedded & Web Systems

📍 Location: Namur (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

📅 Start: ASAP

📆 Duration: Until 31/12/2025 (initial 6-month contract, renewable)

Are you an experienced Test Manager or QA Lead with a strong background in embedded systems and web technologies? We’re looking for a hands-on expert to define and drive a unified testing and launch strategy for two critical technology stacks used in the public mobility sector:

🚍 Embedded Platforms (PFE) – built in C/C++, deployed on vehicles

🌐 Web-based Solutions (SAE) – PHP applications accessible via browser

🎯 Your Mission

You will lead the creation and implementation of a High-Level Testing and Launching Strategy (HLTLS) for both platforms, ensuring robustness, alignment, and performance across systems.

🧠 What You’ll Do

• Define a test strategy that works across embedded and web environments
• Develop and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Coordinate with technical leads and developers to align releases
• Report KPIs and provide test documentation to project/program managers
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to test execution (especially SAE side)

🔧 Tech & Tools You’ll Work With

• CI/CD: GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
• Test management: XRay, TestRail
• Languages: C/C++, PHP
• Agile & QA practices (ISTQB is a plus)

✅ Profile We’re Looking For

• 5+ years as Test Manager or QA Lead in embedded/web environments
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, automated test design, and QA frameworks
• Comfortable in hybrid software/hardware contexts (unstable networks, API robustness, etc.)
• Fluent French (mandatory); good command of English is a plus
• Autonomous, structured, and a great communicator

💡 Bonus: Ability to get hands-on with testing when needed – this role is both strategic and operational.
