Full-stack Software Engineer (right hand of the CTO)

BubblyDoo is based in Antwerp, Belgium with a view on ‘het MAS’ and we are looking for an analytical, ambitious, fast-learning, Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the team, who will be the right hand of the CTO. Who you are:

You’re an exceptional and highly autonomous full-stack developer that can create a product from scratch with the company’s goals in mind. You can balance company priorities with nice to haves and you know that in a small team, it’s not only code you will be working on.

You are analytical, ambitious, fast-learning, ready to get things done well and fast, and not afraid to go the extra mile when needed.

What you'll be working on:

You will be fully responsible for entire parts of our product.

• The website, creating new features, analyzing the data, running A/B tests, emailing, etc.
• The operational part, including the ordering process and the integrations with all production partners.
• The personalization platform, which is used by our creatives to launch products.

Some concrete examples:

• Rewrite a tool for our creatives using Cursor agents
• Come up with a plan to increase Trustpilot score, discuss with the co-founders and make it work
• Rewrite the personalization configurator on the frontend
• Migration to a new CRM/email configuration (more manual work)
• Implement a new design for a specific part of BubblyDoo’s website while increasing loading speed

What your skills are:

• You’re very proficient in React and have experience with full-stack apps
• You take your time to write high-quality code
• You can delivery great software in a short amount of time

What your experience is:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in software development
• You have created a great product or piece of software that was web-based, either for a company or for yourself

We have a great office located in The Beacon, Antwerp. We like it when our team is around for at least 2-3 days a week. If you’re an exceptional candidate, working remotely is possible as well.

Our tech stack (you'll be working with these on a daily basis):

• Next.js with Tailwind, Storybook, React, mostly on Vercel
• Typescript everything
• PostHog and BigQuery for product analytics
• Klaviyo as our customer data platform
• Serverless: AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers and Vercel Edge Functions
