Junior Biologist

Following an internal promotion, we are opening a Junior Biologist position

Responsibilities

Manage the daily work for the production of the reports associated with the OncoDNA’s solution (including the KDM and the ongoing clinical trials) , in respect with the constraints of turnaround time.

This includes all the technologies used to generate the reports.

• Analyses IHCs and NGS results (and others if trained and required);
• Assure the link between subcontractors, production and customers;
• Audit the subcontractors like (Bio.be/IPG) within the framework of Assurance Quality support;
• Deliver comprehensive and correct reports to customers (mainly oncologists) based on OncoDNA’s solution;
•  Assist with customer complaints and investigation activities by providing necessary technical data and feedback to Sales Support, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Engineering and R&D as appropriate;
• Be responsible within a team of the OncoDNA’s data base to improve it with the latest information;
• Providing detailed feedback from customers to internal teams at OncoDNA;

Participate if needed to scientific meetings or training to improve the knowledge or the skills associated with the function

Work closely with other departments such as the Sales Team, by providing scientific and technical expertise

Qualifications

• Master of science or PhD in Molecular and Cellular biology,
• Quality Assurance (Quality standards ISO 9001:2015, 17025, 15189 and Quality tools),
• ICH GCP certified and genetic identification 
• Excellent organizational and communication skills,
• Stress resistant, team and project management
• Solid Understanding of data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, credible and persuasive communicator who can communicate complex scientific principles in simple terms;
• Well-structured and organized
• Solid Scientific Background
• Fluent in English (oral & Written), a second European language is an asset
