Senior Enterprise Java Engineer

This is a senior-level engineering position focused on managing and modernizing enterprise Java application infrastructure. The role involves overseeing traditional IBM WebSphere ND environments, while leading the transition to IBM Liberty in a private cloud setup.

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee and support traditional WebSphere ND environments
• Cloud Migration: Lead the migration to IBM Liberty in a private cloud setup
• Technical Leadership: Guide a team of engineers and collaborate with architects, vendors, and service providers
• Project Delivery: Ensure timely and quality delivery of infrastructure projects aligned with strategic roadmaps
• Performance & Security: Monitor JVM performance, manage TLS/SSL configurations, and ensure compliance with security standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10 years with IBM WebSphere (Traditional Base and Liberty v20)
• Apache Tomcat, Java-based applications
• TLS/SSL, Red Hat Linux, scripting, networking
• JVM performance tuning
• Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, CI/CD, Disaster Recovery
• Tools: TerraForm, Ansible Tower, Java, CaaS, ServiceNow
