Media Systems and Operations Specialist

We are seeking an ICT Officer to join our team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-line support for various ICT questions, managing and maintaining media systems, peripherals, and software, and developing and providing training to users on ICT and multimedia tools.

This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to the support of users and the smooth running of all things related to multimedia and events. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support for various ICT questions, whether face-to-face, by phone or by e-mail, and towards staff, students, and professors;
• Take care of the technical preparation, supervision, and completion of live events, including projection, sound, and video conferencing, possibly with some editing and post-production;
• Manage and maintain media systems, peripherals, and software;
• Develop and provide training to users on ICT and multimedia tools;
• Configure client computers;
• Follow up on all reports, adjusting documentation and seeing where procedures could still get a top-up.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree, ideally in an ICT-related field;
• Ideal first work experience in a similar role or a genuine appetite to dive into this role as your first professional experience;
• Excellent command of English and Dutch; knowledge of French is considered a plus;
• Solid knowledge of ICT systems and multimedia tools such as Office 365, portables, and smartphones, Adobe CC, video conferencing tools, etc., complemented by good practical network knowledge;
• Strong motivation and eagerness to learn, to be and stay up to date with the latest know-how in your field;
• A results-oriented, proactive, and cooperative approach;
• The ability to work autonomously and as a member of a diverse team;
• Strong interpersonal, support, and communication skills;
• The willingness to occasionally work outside office hours, mainly at events.
