Application Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and improvement of key digital platforms used across the organization.

You will serve as a key point of contact between IT, Marketing, Sales, and external vendors to help resolve issues, improve system usage, and contribute to digital transformation.

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for web-based applications and CRM systems.
• Troubleshoot functional or technical issues, escalating to vendors or developers when needed.
• Monitor application performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Support integrations between CRM/web platforms and other systems.
• Manage user access, roles, and data security within assigned applications.
• Maintain and update knowledge base and documentation for end-users.
• Assist in testing and deploying application updates and new features.
• Participate in CRM/web projects and rollouts.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in application support, ideally with web platforms and/or CRM systems.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Odoo, or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and understanding of web technologies.
• Understanding of APIs, data integrations, and cloud-based platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills - able to explain technical issues to non-technical users in both Dutch and English.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
