Position Summary
We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience in C++ and Qt to join the R&D team. You will play a key role in developing intuitive and high-performance graphical user interfaces for next-generation medical imaging applications. These tools support clinicians and researchers in visualising and interpreting complex medical data with precision and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement modern user interfaces using C++ and Qt for medical software tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including imaging specialists, software developers, and UX designers
- Contribute to software architecture discussions and help optimize performance for 3D rendering and large-scale data handling
- Integrate visualization components with client-server systems used for simulation and image post-processing
- Participate in peer code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure software quality and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Proficient in C++
- Experience working with the Qt framework
- Familiarity with 3D visualisation, computational geometry, or graphics rendering is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills
- Professional proficiency in English (French or Dutch is a bonus)
