IT Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Test Engineer for our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated non-regression tests that ensure the quality and reliability of critical software.

Our team focuses on ensuring the high-quality and reliable delivery of business-critical software through efficient testing and continuous improvement.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated non-regression tests to safeguard existing functionality.
• Integrate tests within Azure DevOps pipelines to support CI/CD processes.
• Validate database data via automatic controls and comparisons after code changes.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish test strategies and plans.
• Register and track bugs and inconsistencies, and actively contribute to solution discussions.
• Report on the performance and efficiency of automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• In-depth knowledge of Java and experience with test automation frameworks.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Good knowledge of databases and experience with SQL for validation and comparison purposes.
• An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Language skills: fluent Dutch or French as your native language and good knowledge of the other language (French-speaking environment).

Additional strengths include:

• Knowledge of other programming languages or test tools.
• Experience with performance and load testing.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and infrastructure.
