Role1: Founding Engineer – YC-Backed AI Startup

📍 Location: Leuven/Brussels, Belgium • 💼 Type: Full-Time

• 🧠 Experience: 3-7 years • 💰 Salary: $80K–$120K + Equity

Tech Stack: TypeScript + Node JS.

Job Description:

You’ll take high ownership of our backend systems from infrastructure and APIs to ML-driven tools that enhance recruiter workflows. You’ll ship fast, scale with confidence, and help shape the technical culture alongside the founders.

• TypeScript
• Node.js (No Supabase)
• PostgreSQL
• AI/ML Tooling (OpenAI APIs, vector DBs, etc.)

• 3–7 years of backend engineering experience
• Fluent in TypeScript + Node.js (or strong adjacent stack)
• Exposure to AI integrations or dev tooling is a big plus
• Startups or fast-paced environments preferred
• You’re a builder — hands-on, scrappy, reliable
• English proficiency is enough (Dutch not required)
