Digital Airport Solutions Innovator

We are seeking a skilled Business Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and commercial developments, with a focus on the airport industry.

• Identify and assess project opportunities and collaborate with various teams to create technically suitable and innovative solutions
• Prepare financial models and offers by conducting analyses, preparing commercial offers, and leading negotiations for significant project contracts in collaboration with different departments (Legal, Operational)
• Deliver input to commercial software solutions developments on tri-baggage solutions in order to improve functionality and earnings models
• Define (commercial) strategy in collaboration with the Department Manager where to prioritize and invest for the future
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders by developing and maintaining long-term relationships, understanding their needs, and providing persuasive proposals
• Build partnerships with external partners to offer a complete solution to clients

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil, industrial, or commercial engineering or economics-related field
• At least five years of experience in business development, sales, and commercial developments
• Analytical and organizational skills to manage complex projects, understand risks, and solve problems
• Knowledge and experience in technical design, project management, coordinating various stakeholders, and closing transactions is a strong plus
• Understanding of financial concepts
• Adept at building and maintaining relationships with (potential) clients
• Independent, flexible, and able to work in a multicultural/multilingual environment
• Fluent in English and French with a good knowledge of the second national language Dutch
