Health and Safety Officer (Hybrid)Belgium Large industrial development€80K plus vehicle, pension, plus flights, accommodation, tax free subsistence DOEKey Requirements:Hold a relevant 3rd level degree qualification in Health Safety3-5 years’ experience in a similar positionExperience with relevant HSQE standards and management systemsProficient in carrying out safety inspections and producing risk assessmentsKey Responsibilities:The successful candidate will report directly to the Health and Safety Manager, the key responsibilities are:Regularly review and update Company Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures and Safety StatementsComplete Safety Induction Training for all new employees and sub-contractors and maintain documentary evidence of sameInvestigate, record and report accidents, incidents and near-misses promptly, ensuring any corrective actions are implemented without delayProvide relevant accident information for insurance purposesEnsure that correct PPE is availed of at all times by all relevant employeesEnforce Health and Safety Department PoliciesReview sub-contractors’ Safety Statements and Safety ComplianceAttend regular Health Safety meetingsIf interested in this or similar opportunities in Ireland/ Europe - apply within or reach out to Hugh Casey to discuss.
