Chief Airport Systems Leader


Lead Airport Systems to Success

In this challenging role, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of experts in delivering cutting-edge airport system projects. Your goal is to ensure that these projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Your main responsibility will be to plan, organize, lead, coordinate, and control all offers, projects, and related business activities of the department Airport Systems. This includes defining and implementing the business strategy and vision for your department, as well as ensuring that HSEQ aspects are prioritized.

You will also be responsible for stimulating cross-departmental, divisional, and entity collaboration on offers and projects. Additionally, you will lead the commercial activities of your department, including negotiations with clients for major contracts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, industrial automation, or IT. They will also have experience working in project-driven environments, with a focus on HSEQ aspects. Robust change management experience is required, as well as contract management experience. People management skills are essential, with a proven track record of leading teams of over 50 people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy: Define and implement the business strategy and vision for your department.
  • HSEQ: Prioritize HSEQ aspects and ensure that they are implemented throughout the organization.
  • Synergies: Stimulate cross-departmental, divisional, and entity collaboration on offers and projects.
  • Commercial & Business Development: Lead the commercial activities of your department, including negotiations with clients for major contracts.
  • Tech Leadership: Be accountable for the technical solutions that you integrate into your offers and later in the realization of the projects.
  • Business Supervision: Define, follow-up, and achieve the commercial, financial, servicing, and development targets.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in engineering, industrial automation, or IT.
  • Experience working in project-driven environments with a focus on HSEQ aspects.
  • Rugged change management experience.
  • Contract management experience.
  • People management skills with a proven track record of leading teams of over 50 people.
