Job Title: Insurance Policy Specialist
Job Description:    In a rapidly evolving business landscape, our organization requires a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Insurance Policy Specialist. This role plays a crucial part in our success by ensuring the timely issuance of insurance policies to our European clients and brokers, while providing exceptional administrative support to our underwriting teams.
Responsibilities:    Policy Issuance:    Create new and renewal insurance policies within our technical policy system, adhering to strict guidelines and regulatory requirements.    Review and initiate policy endorsements and certificates, ensuring accuracy and compliance.    Analyze technical data and calculate technical transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions.
    Operational Excellence:    Respond to broker and client requests in a professional and timely manner, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.    Manage accurate and careful maintenance of policy documentation and correspondence on our e-filing platform.    Take calls and attend meetings with our brokers where required, promoting effective communication and relationship-building.    Participate in internal training and team meetings, contributing to process improvements and sharing knowledge.
Requirements:    Professional experience as a policy technician/administrator or similar.    Excellent attention to detail and ability to understand policy coverage and limits, premium calculations/installments, pro-rata calculations for time on risk.    Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey policy details to clients and brokers.    Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.    Diligent, professional, and service-minded attitude, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.    Proficiency in MS Word, with the ability to manage document completion and layout.    Familiarity with Excel, including lookup and sort functions, pivot tables, and data integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:    Language skills: French, Dutch, and English, spoken and written.    Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.    Good level of Spanish is a plus.
