We are seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead our Airport Systems team.
About the RoleThe Department Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading and coordinating all offers, projects and related business activities of the department Airport Systems. This includes defining and implementing the business strategy and vision for the department, as well as ensuring high HSEQ standards across all projects and within the department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICT, digital or automation environments, with experience in project management and HSEQ. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, including the ability to manage diverse teams and develop HR strategies.
In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders across the organization, including logistics, HR, legal and procurement. You will also be responsible for commercial activities, including negotiations with clients and the development of services and markets.

Responsibilities- Define and implement the business strategy and vision for the department Airport Systems.
- Ensure high HSEQ standards across all projects and within the department.
- Manage and coordinate all offers, projects and related business activities of the department Airport Systems.
- Lead and coordinate the HR related activities within the department.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, including the age pyramid, competence needs and hiring possibilities.
Requirements- Master's degree in engineering, industrial automation or IT background is required.
- Experience of 5-10 years in ICT, digital or automation environment.
- Robust change management experience is required.
- Contract management experience is a must.
- Experience in people management is needed (experience with more than 50 persons on own payroll should be a real added value).
- Proven leadership skills, including good understanding of HR related topics.
- Demonstrate deep experience in risk management.
- Experiences in EPC-projects.
- Financial insights on business related topics & experience in P&L responsibility is a must.
- Commercial IT-solution productization knowledge is required.
- Knowledge about agile software development, software quality management and software maintenance management processes is required.
