Empiric's client is seeking an exceptional Sales Lead to spearhead its Cybersecurity and Networking business line, focusing on the vibrant Belgian market. This is a unique opportunity to shape strategy, lead a talented team, and directly impact their continued success.


About the Role:

As the Sales Lead, you will be instrumental in expanding their footprint in the critical cybersecurity landscape. You'll lead a team of 5 dedicated Account Managers, fostering their development while actively engaging with key clients yourself. Your strategic vision and hands-on approach will be vital in achieving ambitious revenue targets.


What You'll Bring:

  • Proven Sales Leadership: You'll have a strong track record of success in sales management within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Commercial Acumen: Your ability to contribute to business planning and strategic growth will be paramount.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: someone who takes initiative, identifies opportunities, and drives them to fruition.
  • Player-Coach Mentality: You're equally comfortable guiding your team and directly nurturing high-value client relationships.
  • Cybersecurity Fluency: You can confidently discuss technical concepts with clients and translate them into business value.
  • Must speak fluent Dutch.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Inspire: You'll guide and support a team of 5 Account Managers, empowering them to excel and exceed targets.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: You'll be responsible for significant revenue growth, with an 80% focus on nurturing existing client relationships and 20% on new business development (approximately).
  • Shape Strategy: You'll play a pivotal role in sales strategy, business planning, and target setting, directly influencing the direction of the cybersecurity business.
  • Own Key Accounts: You'll take direct ownership of crucial client relationships, ensuring their success and continued partnership.
  • Refine and Execute: You'll contribute to refining and executing sales strategies, including pipeline planning and commercial execution.
