Robotics Electronics Engineer (M/F)
We provide innovative solutions for robotized mowing technologies and outdoor power equipment (OPE).
In order to grow further, address new markets and better serve our customers, we are looking for a dynamic Robotics Electronics engineer to join our development team, based in Wavre, Belgium.
Under the supervision of the Electronics team leader, after acquiring an understanding of our existing and planned robotic products, you will work on multiple projects (field issue analysis, PCB design, test development, product improvement, …)
Design new electronic boards, supervise the production and validate them
Validate the integration with the mechanics and the embedded software
Develop maintenance and testing procedures for those boards and create the required test benches
Participate in the electronics aspects of the product certification
Participate in the sourcing of the electronics components
Analyse & debug field issues. Support the production team if needed
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience with an electronic CAD tool (Altium Designer), LTSpice, …
Knowledge and understanding of PCB assembly, PCB manufacturing, DFM/DFT, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems design, Motor control design and EMC/RED compliance
Experience with Embedded SW development, Mechanical design and/ or Python scripting is a plus
Understanding of communication protocols (CAN bus, serial, USB, SPI, I²C, …)
Excellent relational and communication skills in English. French is a plus
