Oisoi Studio was founded in 2020 and is based in Gent, Belgium. We are the team behind Painting VR, specializing in immersive content for creatives

We are now seeking a Unity User Interface Developer for Immersive VR Applications to join our team and work on our next social creative app.

YOU WILL

• …implement and optimize user interfaces specifically for VR experiences in Unity;
• …collaborate with UX designers, developers, and artists to translate concepts into interactive, intuitive interfaces;
• …develop reusable UI components, interaction patterns, and UI pipelines tailored for 3D and VR environments;
• …ensure usability, clarity, and comfort of all in-app UI across different headsets;
• …maintain and enhance UI performance and responsiveness for an immersive experience.

YOU HAVE

• …strong Unity experience, especially in building UI for VR or immersive 3D environments;
• …a solid grasp of user experience principles, accessibility, and spatial interaction design;
• …a portfolio or track record of VR projects where you were responsible for UI or UX implementation;
• …proficiency in C#;
• …experience working closely with designers and developers;
• …attention to visual detail, layout, and interaction feedback;
• …fluency in English, both written and spoken.

BONUS POINTS FOR

• Experience with shader-based UI effects or text rendering in VR
• Familiarity with mobile VR (e.g., Meta Quest) optimization techniques
• An artistic hobby or activity :)
