Head of Controlling

About the position

Would you like to join a fast-growing European company operating in the automotive sector, located in Brussels, as Head of Controlling for the Finance department?

By joining this company, who employs hundreds of people, you will support the CFO in implementing the Group’s financial strategy across its affiliates in Belgium and Northern France.

The Opportunity

Here are some examples of how you coordinate the company's financial resources to ensure that investments in performance management result in improved profitability:

• Assists the CFO in implementing the Group's financial strategy at affiliate level.
• Analyses and controls operational and financial performance across 9 affiliates.
• Coordinates and prepares consolidated financial statements: budgets, forecasts, reporting, and closings.
• Implements proactive analyses to improve company performance.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives and ensures compliance with Group financial procedures.
• Manages a business controller and facilitates coordination among liaison personnel for management control activities.
• Works cross-functionally with other departments and leads key financial projects (e.g. ERP improvements, cash pooling, invoice dematerialization).

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• You hold a master’s degree in business management, finance, or equivalent.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in Controlling.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch, with a very good command of the other language as well as English.
