Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for VAT and reporting? Do you have strong analytical skills and the drive to help build robust financial processes? For a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the Wielsbeke region, we are looking for a hands-on Chief Accountant / Financial Controller. To support the company's short-term growth, we are looking for a Chief Accountant. Your responsibilities will include: Full ownership of the accounting process: you ensure accuracy and completeness. You contribute to a transparent and well-structured monthly closing process. Take the lead in VAT compliance, both Belgian and international: coding, reconciliations, and returns. Optimize the use of ExactOnline: work towards maximum automation and improved coding and process setup. Develop and implement financial reporting to support management decision-making. Coach and guide the two Accountants in the team in their day-to-day activities. Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar accounting or controlling role. Expert knowledge of VAT, both domestic and international. Proficient in ExactOnline or comparable accounting software. Analytical, structured, and an ...
