Plant Controlling Manager

As Plant Controlling Manager, you are a key figure in the financial management of Fromunion. You manage the entire financial cycle - from budgeting and forecasting to strategic advice - and act as a coach for the finance team. 

Your Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights for decision-making (product price calculation)

Strategic Planning:

• Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth.

People Management:

• Lead and mentor the finance team (Plant Controller and Purchase Assistant), fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with company goals.

Risk Management:

• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure robust internal controls are in place.

• Provide support to the Plant Director in the negotiation of milk contracts and market monitoring
• Directly reporting to the Plant Director and in dotted line to the Financial Director Savencia Benelux

What profile are we looking for?

• Master's degree in a financial or economic field
• At least 7-10 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, FMCG/Food is a +
• Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset
• Experience with reporting, budget management and ERP systems
• MS Office holds no secrets for you (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• As a member of the management team, you help be the face of the organization and help make decisions in all other areas (Safety, Process, Operations, HR...)
• Communicates fluently in Dutch, French and English (orally and in writing)
