Chapter Operations Analyst

About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chapter Operations Associate to support PMI's chapters in Europe. This role will help align local chapter operations with PMI’s global strategic goals by providing governance, performance, and operational support.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for chapter governance and operational inquiries, escalating issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Assist chapters in implementing business plans and customer-focused service models, including supporting chapter elections.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key chapters to enhance engagement and outreach efforts.
  • Manage the Chapter Charter process, including approvals, renewals, and ensuring compliance with PMI policies.
  • Oversee volunteer data, ensure quality assurance, and support the development of volunteer role descriptions and training materials.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of operational policies, procedures, and templates.
  • Collaborate across departments to address complex chapter matters requiring cross-functional solutions.


Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience in association or similar environments, with knowledge of nonprofit organizational structures and governing documents.
  • Proven ability to create and apply performance metrics effectively.
  • General knowledge of association laws, including Anti-Trust, UBIT Tax, and Non-Profit Classifications.
  • Familiarity with insurance program requirements, including general liability and professional insurance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term, outcome-focused relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience in dynamic, agile, and customer-centric environments.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, any other languages are a plus.


Other Relevant Information

  • Some travel may be required to support chapters and attend key events.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate global time zones as needed.
