Manual/UAT test analyst (Web/mobile - ALM, Jira, qTest) Location: Brussels, Belgium Contract Type: Contractor (end of 2025, with extensions) Travel Requirement: 50% EU National, OR Work Permit For Belgium (ENGLISH Speaking Projects, but French, Dutch and/or German languages are a plus!) An exciting long-term freelance assignment for a test analyst with proven capability in manual & UAT testing methods for Web & mobile, API domains. if you have experience using ALM, Jira, or qTest, and are ISQTB certified, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a Mid-Level Test Analyst to join our team in Belgium. This role is focused on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business process validation, rather than technical application development testing. You will play a key role in ensuring the correct configuration of an off-the-shelf product, verifying that the designed business processes deliver the expected outcomes. Key responsibilities Test planning & strategy Analyze business requirements and define testing objectives and scope Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts Identify key areas for functional testing Test execution & defect management Conduct manual testing across platforms (web, mobile, API, etc.) Execute test cases, report defects, and manage their resolution Lead and support integration and UAT efforts Collaboration & communication Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements Regularly communicate testing progress, risks, and results to stakeholders Documentation & reporting Maintain accurate and detailed test documentation Provide in-depth reports and defect analysis to inform project decisions Your profile To thrive in this role, you are someone who Brings a "Can Do" attitude and acts with professionalism Is highly organized, proactive, and detail oriented Demonstrates strong listening and analytical skills Has a customer-focused mindset and is solution-oriented Is confident working with a wide range of global stakeholders Is comfortable in a dynamic environment and takes ownership of tasks Required qualifications Solid knowledge of software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC Proven experience in UAT and business process testing Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, qTest, or ALM Minimum of 3 years experience in software testing Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken ISTQB certification Please send your CV or call javaid to discuss further.
