Test Automation Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to support an ongoing IT project within an international organization. The ideal candidate is available to start immediately and has solid hands-on experience in automated testing within Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using a leading automation tool (preferably TOSCA).
• Integrate automated tests into a CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Build reusable and modular test components to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Test Execution & Quality Assurance:

• Execute and analyze automated test runs to detect bugs and ensure product quality.
• Perform regression testing following updates and new feature deployments.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA colleagues to clarify test requirements and application functionality.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Report test outcomes, log defects, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and propose improvements to testing workflows and tools.
• Stay informed on the latest trends in test automation, particularly around TOSCA.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with TOSCA for test automation, including test case creation, test data management, and test execution.
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, VBScript) is a plus.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
