• Installing Db2
• Know the differences in db2 editions (community, standard & advanced)
• Manage patches and updates for Db2
• Installing and configuring Db2
• Database Design
• SQL Programming
• Performance Tuning
• Security
• Backup and Recovery
• HADR
• Flexible and can adjust quickly
• Proactive mentality, can work in a team but also independently
• Language(s): English (fluent) Dutch or French asset

Job description:

• Installing Db2, differences in db2 editions (community, standard & advanced), securing a Db2 installation
• Configure network protocols and ports
• Best practices for configuring memory settings in Db2
• Configure storage settings for optimal performance in db2
• Manage patches and updates for Db2
• Database normalization
• Implement and manage constraints (e.g., primary key, foreign key, unique, check) in Db2
• Choose appropriate data types for columns in a Db2 database
• Define and manage relationships between tables in Db2
• Design a database schema to support scalability and performance
• Write complex queries using subqueries and window functions
• Create and manage triggers in Db2, and what are their use cases
• SQL Programming
• Best practices for auditing and ensuring compliance with security policies in Db2
• Backup and Recovery
• Architecture and key components of IBM Db2 HADR
• Set up and configure an HADR in Db2
