What do you need to be a SMART Team Lead Data Engineer?

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; certifications are a plus)
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools
• Knowledge of Data Vault and other data modeling techniques
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices

Must-Have Soft Skills

• Proven leadership experience;
• Minimum 2 years of team management required
• Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire junior team members
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Fluent in French and English (both verbal and written)
