System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP BASIS Administration: Install, configure, and patch ECC and S/4HANA systems
• Performance & Monitoring: Proactively monitor system health, tune performance, and troubleshoot bottlenecks
• Transport & Change Management: Manage transport routes, enforce change-control processes, and deploy updates
• User & Security Management: Provision users, roles, and authorizations; implement security best practices
• Backup & Recovery: Design and execute backup strategies; coordinate disaster-recovery drills
• Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, developers, infrastructure, and cloud engineers to support projects and incidents

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on SAP BASIS or SAP System Administration experience
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA), HANA database, and SAP NetWeaver
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and/or Windows server environments
• Experience with database administration (SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server)
• Familiarity with system automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins) and monitoring platforms (e.g., Solution Manager, Zabbix)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, storage, and virtualization

Nice-to-Have:

• Certifications: SAP Certified Technology Associate (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver)
• Cloud SAP experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Scripting skills (Shell, Python) for automation
