Our Public Affairs consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Director who is passionate about EU Digital Policies to play a leading role in designing and coordinating our client strategies. Leveraging your sector expertise, you will provide insights on emerging trends, risks and opportunities while engaging with key EU key stakeholders at all levels.
As Associate Director in our Digital Practice, you will be instrumental in leading and expanding the Practice. This position requires a dynamic and strategic leader capable of driving growth, fostering stakeholder relationships, and overseeing a talented team of public affairs and communications specialists. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in digital policy, policy analysis, and advocacy campaigns, with a deep understanding of the EU policy landscape.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the vision and strategy for expanding PI’s EU Digital practice.
- Stay on top of policy and political developments, debates, legislation, and regulatory trends, contributing with critical and analytical insights.
- Develop and implement Public Affairs strategies that align with client and company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including European Commission officials, MEPs, their staff, and industry representatives.
- Actively network by attending relevant sector events and policymaking debates.
- Coordinate and lead advocacy campaigns aimed at influencing EU policy decisions on behalf of clients.
- Provide clients with insights into emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the political landscape.
- Advise client leads on their strategic positioning, action plans and campaigns, including proposals for existing and future projects.
- Support team management and mentor colleagues in the EU Digital policy and communications.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in EU public affairs and digital policy, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of the EU digital political landscape, including key stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with strong business acumen and a can-do attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and effectively manage multifaceted campaigns or projects.
- Experience in developing strategies, leading advocacy campaigns, and advising clients on political and regulatory challenges.
- A proactive approach to networking and stakeholder engagement.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional EU languages is a plus.
